Location:  RTI,=20 Camp = Ashland,=20 NE

Military=20 Grade Range:  = Minimum=20 SSG/E6 - Maximum SSG/E6

Military=20 Requirements:  Designated MOS for = this position=20 is immaterial. Incumbent must be or become BNCOC graduate (all = phases),=20 ABIC, SGITC, AdLIC, and Blackboard qualified, NLT October 2010 = (RTI will=20 arrange schools) meet and maintain HT/WT standards.  Must not have a flagging = action.=20 Tour length is until 30 September 2011, contingent upon FY = 2010/2011=20 funding.

 

 

 

 

Area=20 of Consideration:  All members of the Nebraska = Army=20 National Guard and persons who are eligible for enlistment or transfer = into the=20 Nebraska Army National Guard may submit applications for this=20 position.

 

General=20 Requirements:

1. Knowledge=20 of military training management.

2. The=20 ability to display oneself as a role model and mentor. =

3. The=20 ability to conduct instruction in a military environment. =

4. A valid=20 state driver=92s license is required.

5. Meet and=20 maintain height/weight standards.

6. Must=20 adhere =91rigorously to Army standards and must be an obvious standard = bearer of=20 basic skills and physical fitness. (Must have no limiting physical=20 profiles)

7. Possesses=20 an understanding of the current Contemporary Operating Environment (COE) = and=20 Opposing Forces (OPFOR).

8. Have no=20 personal habits or character traits that are questionable from a = security=20 standpoint.

9. Must be=20 within commuting distance of Camp Ashland.

10. Be a high school graduate or possess the GED = equivalent.=20

11. Possess=20 mature judgment and initiative.

12. Have at=20 least three years remaining in-Service upon arrival or be able to = reenlist or=20 extend to meet this requirement.

13. Have a=20 security clearance consistent with that required to attend the requisite = instructor course.

 

Summary=20 of Duties:  = Responsible for training = first line=20 supervisors. Incumbent conducts training in the Advanced Leader Course = (ALC) and=20 BNCOC Phase 1 CC as prescribed by the appropriate Program of Instruction = (POI)=20 and Course Management Plan (CMP) as outlined by the United States = Sergeants=20 Major Academy (USASMA). Supervises up to 100 = Soldiers in a=20 team of 2. Operates a computerized classroom; evaluates and = conducts=20 tests of student performance in technical subjects and leadership = development;=20 counsels and re-trains as necessary; maintains work areas; accountable = for=20 office equipment. Assists in preparing reports, DA = Form 87 and=20 DA Form 1059 as appropriate on each student within the = class.  Makes appropriate = recommendations to=20 Instructor / Senior Small Group Leader or Branch Chief on any student = not=20 meeting course standards.

      1. = Certified copy=20 of DA Form 2-1.

      2.  Five = latest=20 NCO-ER's.  A letter = of=20 recommendation or performance evaluation must be submitted on soldiers = not=20 requiring a NCO-ER.

      3.  Copy of DA Form 705, Army = Physical=20 Fitness Test Scorecard, listing last four APFT = scores.

      4.  Statement of all active duty = performed=20 (DD Form 214, NGB Form 22, NGB Form 23, or any other forms that show = active duty=20 service).  =

      5.  Semi-annual weigh-in=20 form
