FULL TIME NATIONAL GUARD DUTY OPERATIONAL SUPPORT (FTNGD= OS) VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Title: Pre-Mobilization Training Assisto= r (TA) (multiple positions)	Location: PTAE, Lincoln, NE
Military Grade Range: Minimum SPC/E4 - Maximum SFC/E7 (4 NCO positions)= &nbs= p; &= nbsp; &nbs= p; = Minimum WO1/W1 - Maximum MAJ/O4 (2 Officer positions)
Military Requirements: MOS is immaterial. Length of to= ur is until 30 September 2010, tour continuation is contingent on FY11 funding availability= . Selected individual must successf= ully complete 1^st Army Observer Controller/Trainer Academy. Preferred to have (OIF/OEF) experience. If Selected, Individual must live w= ithin 65 miles of duty assignment. PCS/PERDIEM WILL NOT BE PAID.

Area of Consideration: All members of the Nebraska Army National Guard and persons who are eligible for enlistment or transfer into the Nebraska Army National Guard may submit applications for this position.

General Requirements:

1. Professional, competent, unbiased, and impartial, from unit not deploying i= n the next two years.

2. Experience from a like mission in theater.

3. Complete 1st Army's 10 day Master Trainer/OC/T school as soon as practical.=

4. Must be able to travel state and nationwide, work weekends and accompany un= its to training events.

5. Familiar with using personal computer and MS office applications, (Word, Ex= cel, PowerPoint, etc) and eventually trained in DTMS and MPDV programs. Become proficient in the operation of the web based First Army Commanders Training Tool.

6. Ability to collect, organize and document data to brief the unit's status to the chain of command, PTAE command, and the State Command Group.=

7. Become subject matter expert (SME) on Army Warrior Tasks/ Battle Drills, and preparation/presentation of Theater Specific Individual and Leader Training briefings.

8. Maintain Physical Fitness, pass APFT every 6 months. Be able to wear all co= mbat gear and stand for extended periods of time.

9. Must have current or interim SECRET security clearance.

Summary of Duties: Pre-mobilization Training Assistance Elements (PTAE's) will provide impartial/unbiased evaluation of pre-mob training to the Adjut= ant General (tag) assist with providing certified, validated, and ready units f= or possible mobilization in support of the Regional Combatant Commanders (RCC). The PTAE will be augmented with Training Assistors (TA) to accomplish the mission. The Ta's will assist unit commanders via independent analysis, support, evaluation and documentation during pre-mob training to reduce post-mob training time. Coordinate with 1st Army and assist unit in develop= ment of "initial Assessment". Provide, monitor and assist units to upd= ate DTMS and MPDV data. Provide higher HQ with routine unit training information and updates. Assist unit in conduct, validation and completion of training. Assist unit training evaluation and coach, teach and mentor as requested. Attend all briefings and brief-backs concerning their training unit. Track = unit performance and provide observations to the unit's chain of command. Oversee unit submission of certification data and battle rosters. Maintain TA train= ing proficiency. Provide a link to validated current Training Evaluation and Outlines (TE&O) and doctrine changes to training unit.

&nb= sp; 3. Copy of DA Form 705, Army Physical= Fitness Test Scorecard, listing last four APFT scores.

&nb= sp; 4. Statement of all active duty perfo= rmed (DD Form 214, NGB Form 22, NGB Form 23, or any other forms that show active duty service).
