1.=   Knowledge of procedures covering the processing of a wide range of budgeting transactions.

Summary of Duties:   The incumbent serves as a staff specialist to the office of the Training Site Manager with responsibility f= or providing a variety of administrative and clerical support services.

 

- Responsible for the Training Site billeting fund accounts and will also serve as the billeting clerk.

 

-&= nbsp; Serves as assistant for the Training Site Manager and is responsible= for budget preparation, collects and analyzes cost data, monitors budget expenditures and performs other closely related duties.  Recommends allocation and sub allo= cation of funds to billeting.

 

- Analyzes and monitors the expendi= ture of billeting funds for the training site activities to promote effective fu= nd usage and ensure compliance with appropriate directives.<= /p>

 

- Prepares data as required for automated reports and converts data as required for the automation of repor= ts.  Converts standard reporting data t= o code and/or formats required for data processing.  Assists in the management of the o= ffice and technician subject matter files.  May attend meetings as designated to provide data/information or adv= ice on training site finance operations and procedural requirements.=

 

- Maintains the TDA/CTA property bo= ok account and supporting documents for billeting operations.

 

- Maintains property account and supporting requisitions for office equipment and office supplies.

 

- Maintains the Accident Damaged Equipment Release file. Reviews Accident Reports, Equipment Damage Reports,= and Equipment Classification Inspection forms to determine instances of equipme= nt damage due to incident or accident.  Maintains action requirements involving solicitation of unit action = to release equipment for repair.  Prepares and distributes equipment release notices.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

1.  Military Technicians are ineligibl= e for enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.  Acceptance of a Technician positio= n will terminate these incentives.

2.  Technicians are paid through direct deposit/electronic funds transfer.

3.  Male candidates born after 31 Dece= mber 1959 must be registered with the Selective Service.

4.  Military Technicians in the except= ed service will wear the appropriate military uniform while performing as a technician.

5.  Veteran's preference does not appl= y to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709 (f).   =
